Hi, I’m Chelsi

Over the past 4 years, I’ve served over 500 clients, partnered with multiple global brands, and have a 6-figure business that honors my motherhood and chronic illness.

But it wasn’t always this way.

If you told me 8 months in (when I was building an agency as newly postpartum mom) what I would accomplish in 4 years, I would have laughed in your face.

I didn’t always have this business in mind.

I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2015 as a photographer while still holding my full-time job. I was working in a corporate structure that would have had me climbing the ladder for the rest of my life. I knew I didn’t want that to be my end goal.
I continued climbing the ladder while also educating myself on entrepreneurship, ultimately earning my MBA with a focus on small business.

In 2021, I went full-time in my business and created a new business journey of supporting small businesses with marketing and strategy services, which later evolved into what it is now, in 2025: The JOY Creative Co.

The Joy of You (JOY) Creative started from a simple but powerful realization: life and business don’t have to compete. As a new mom and multi-business owner, I left corporate life to build something different—something joyful. Today, I’m here to help you find that same balance, crafting brands and strategies that don’t just look good but feel good, too.

I absolutely refuse to do anything in my life or my business based on arbitrary rules or for others’ approval. My decisions come solely from what’s best for my health, my family, and my clients. Period.
